Born in 1965, Jack Hennessy is a native of County Wexford. Since graduating from college in 1989 he worked in Northern Ireland, Tampa Bay, Florida and London, England before returning to Wexford and establishing this practice in December 1997.

He was awarded the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health in February 1998.

He is a Chartered Safety Practitioner, a Professional Safety Engineer, an OHSAS 18001 Auditor and a certified Manual Handling Instructor and Assessor.

He was admitted as a Member of The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) in 1998; a Member of The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management in 1999; to the Register of Safety Practitioners in 2004; and installed as a Chartered Member of IOSH in 2005. He was elected a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers in 2006.

Jack served for several years as a committee member of the South East District of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health and was President of St Peter's College Past Pupils' Union 2003-05.
